The sampling theory, which has been developed in the last half-century, has not only promoted various disciplines of statistics, but has also been effective in the excellence of other disciplines of science, because by using it, it is possible to study and analyze different societies more easily and accurately, and access to new findings of these societies are made available. The SRTC, due to its mission in promoting the statistical knowledge of the society, has chosen the translation and publication of authoritative foreign sources as a suitable way to keep up with the current knowledge. The present book, translated by Dr. Massoud Yarmohammadi and edited by Ms. Giti Mokhtari Amir Majdi, is another step at the beginning of this path, which is hoped to be useful for experts and students in the field of statistics and related fields.
