Sampling: Methods and Application
According to its mission in promoting the statistical knowledge of the society, the Statistics Research Institute has chosen the translation and publication of authoritative foreign sources as a suitable way to keep up with the current knowledge. At the beginning of this path, in March 2002, the book "Sampling: Methods and Applications" was published which was written By Paul S. Lehvi and Stanley Lamisho, and translated by Ms. Giti Mokhtari Amir Majdi and edited by Dr. Ali Amidi. The special feature of this book is its focus on the basic principles and methods of sampling, and in addition to being used as a textbook of sampling methods for statistics students, it can also be used by statisticians and other science experts in solving practical problems.
