The Training Course on “Application of Complex Sampling Methods in Official Statistics” was held by Dr. Mohammad Nourmohammadi, Head of the Statistical Research and Training Centre (SRTC) and Dr. Mohammad Reza Faridruhani, Faculty Member of Shahid Beheshti University and Dr. Rushanak Aliakbarisaba, Group Leader and Faculty Member of the SRTC from 31 December 2017 to 2 January 2018. In this Course, subjects such as ranked set sampling, sampling ranked set in finite populations, sampling of rare populations, types of indirect sampling methods of populations, special survey of ranked set were reviewed and discussed.
