The Sixth Session on “Overviewing Experiences and Viewpoints in Official Statistics” with the Theme of Statistics and Governance was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Well-being and Statistical Research and Training Centre (SRTC) on 2 January 2018 in the Statistical Centre of Iran. In this Session, three speeches were delivered. The first speech on “Governments, Good Governance and Open Data Dissemination in the world (Iran Position in Open Data Dissemination in the world) was delivered by Mr. Mir Fallah Nasiri, Head of Strategic Statistics and Information of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Well-being. Mr. Samad Asghari, Deputy for Research and Statistical Studies of the Ministry was the second lecturer who delivered his speech on “Functional Information System of Government Agencies”. At the end of the Session. Ms. Banafsheh Raeesi, Deputy for Preparation, Formulation and Processing of Information of the Ministry also delivered her speech on “making data significant”.
