Training course on “an introduction to infographics and image-creating” was held by Dr. Maryam Salami in the Statistical and Research Training Centre over the days of 30 December 2017, 13 and 20 January 2018. During the course, subjects such as concept of infographics, structure of infographics, how to present infographics, understanding the differences between data and information, main techniques in the process of infographics designing, its history, diagram, types of graphs, recognition of software applications needed for infographics (Photoshop and excel), do's and don'ts in designing infographics, practical explanation on transforming a text into infographics were addressed.
