The Training Workshop on” Population Projection Methods by Using DAPPS software” was held by Dr. Mohammad Shiri, Faculty Member of the Statistical Research and Training Centre and Ms. Elham Fathi, Group Leader for Population and Health Statistics of the Statistical Centre of Iran in the SRTC from 4-6 March 2018. The Workshop provided training in the issues such as an introduction to the methodology of population projection by combined / Demo method by using DAPPS software, preparation of the information on fertility, mortality, basic population and projection of population without migration and with migration.
